ETUDE - How to Choose a Violin 1950

I am sorry that I have not been participating much, but I got married last year and have been using most of my woodworking skills to repair our 1930s home.

Tell me about it.  :)

I've been busily making baseboard with an old 1900s profiled plane... pretty great technology, and much smoother result than a router!  I'm saving a ton by not paying someone to mill custom baseboard (to match our existing dated woodword).

If you get a chance, post some pics.
