Very authentic and beautiful work as always, Manfio! Is this plaster of Paris over the ground?

No, no plaster of Paris here. Thanks Michael!

Thanks! Yes, I think I described my varnish process here some years ago... but I have changed somethings.

A player sent me this video, a 16.3 viola (41.5 cms.) I made exactly a year ago, he studied in Berlin with members of the Berlin Phil, and is assistant principal in the Chile National Orchestra, the principal there is one of my players too. .

Thanks Rue! One of my violas with the principal viola of the European Union Youth Orchestra, Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg, Germany. She studies with Hartmut Rohde at the UDK Berlin, Maestro

Rohde chose this viola to her.

Dear NYC violists, come to see and play these 4 violas in NYC from October 16th to 26th. Sizes 16.3, 16 and 15.5. They sound better than they look! Feel free to PM me.

One of my violas played by Karolina Pawul, principal viola of the European Union Youth Orchestra, she studies with Hartmut Rohde at the UDK Berlin, these orchestral excerpts are very difficult to play.
