Evan Smith Posted December 4, 2012 Report Posted December 4, 2012 I don’t feel like workin,,,I’m sick,,Headache sniff, no fiddlework for me,,,,,,,,,,,so I quit school in 10th grade after I finished my guitar project, next year I quit after my shop project,, Next year the counsler said ,,,”if you want to come back,,,no shop for you,,,” I didn’t I’ve done wood for a longtime,,so now you know,,,, How about some superglue horror stories: Not discussions on the rightness or wrongness of the glue,,, But what has it done to you,,or a loved one,,or an annoying one,,,, Superglue can create sudden and unexpected situations,, Big music store,,, Closes at 6:00 SHARP! You must be out of the building by 6:05 THE ALARMS ARE SET! I’ve been doing fret jobs all day,,,, Very tired,,,working in “The Dungeon:” In the winter,,,,,go to work in the dark, go to “The Dungeon”,,,,,go home in the dark. I just want to go home. This kid comes in with some hot rod with superlites on it,,and his nut is slipping around and I should be nice and glue it for him . It is a couple of minutes from closing,, Have you ever been in a hurry and it just DID NOT work out? Soon yes very soon we are going to see the King,,, And very soon the entire palm of my left hand was G-L-uuuuued to the back of his guitar neck, In a Gmaj7#5b9 position. Absolutely a true story. Moral of the story,,,,,(I’m an idiot,,well ,,,sometimes mabe,) I have a holder for superglue bottle…. Bottle stays in holder… Do not cut top off of superglue bottle….. Use needles or pipettes to apply. Get only a small bottle, and if it’s good to the last drop,,,, Your probably using TOOOO much. (he thought that he would get used to my hand,,,he loved the chord)

CarloBartolini Posted December 4, 2012 Report Posted December 4, 2012 hahaha, good one.......not instrument related, a friend of mine, a singer, broke his front tooth and used to super glue it, one day, in a date with a hot chick, in a restaurant the tooth came loose, he went to the bathroom to super glue it as he was used to, (without her knowing of the situation) he accidentally supeglued his lips with the tooth, in desperation he yanked the whole thing out, lots of bleeding, and a 1/2 tooth with some of his lip stuck on it, glued it back...and back to the date.... All the best wishes from the southern seas, for a fast recovery!!
Brad Dorsey Posted December 4, 2012 Report Posted December 4, 2012 ...How about some superglue horror stories... I heard that a student in the bowmaking class at the University of New Hampshire glued his or her eyes shut.
