Locked and deleted threads

You all will notice several locked threads, and a couple others that have disappeared. Please take this as an indication that it's time to change course. I honestly don't have the time to unravel contentious threads wherein members can't seem to follow the basic rules of the board.

Sorry to be cynical, but I suspect that the violators of the rules are convinced that they aren't doing anything improper and it's the other guy who's the violator.

I doubt that things will change.
