Barry J. Griffiths
While going through my pile of bows I came across one stamped LESEIM Leipzig on the stick, above the frog and Germany on the underside at the butt. The bow is Brazilwood, nickel/ebony frog. The head is very nicely made and the stick feels good. Has anyone heard of this maker or shop? Barry
zinomaniac
MEISEL (misspelled) spelled backwards?

Will L
Barry, Just how clear is the stamp? Is there any chance that it might be read another way?
Barry J. Griffiths
Will, The stamp is as clear as it gets. Leipzig is actually LEIPZIG but we're splitting hairs. Barry
Violadamore
A Google search turned up several, some for auction at Knowles. Jeffery Krieger has one for sale on his site (http://www.precisionbowrehair.com/ ) : " #14 29.25" 63 grams, round stick stamped Leseim Leipzig Saxony $1200.00" , which suggests they are worth something.
