bryanh Posted June 13, 2010 Report Posted June 13, 2010 Hello to all at MN. Another newbie here. Trying to make and sell fiddles here in the mountains of Tennessee. I've been learning a lot from yall over the last six months and look forward to learning much more going forward. Any way here's a few pics of my latest fiddle, #4. Will post pics of other work if anyone is interested to see. Thanks, Bryan

Perhaps you could also post a picture of it here? I know there are many makers who also step out from strict tradition a bit, who will appreciate it. Welcome, and keep up the good work...
McBenet Posted June 13, 2010 Report Posted June 13, 2010 And, oh, btw, nice scroll. Yea, what he said. Seriously, very nice. Voulute is just gorgious, would love to see more.

Thanks CT, Here's some of the pics from the #3 fiddle. I recently sold this one at the Mt. Airy fiddlers convention . This is probably my most traditional one to date. Bryan

Thanks McBenet, My son David often helps with the scroll carving. He has that hand to eye thing down much better than me. He won't do them all though, just when he's in the mood! Here's a few pics of scrolls from #1 (maple) and #2 (walnut).
