I live in the NYC region. Any recommending? Thank you In NYC, I would highly recommend the following bow specialists: Yung Chin 212.582.3626 Salchow & Sons 212.586.4805 I'm sure that there are other bow repairers in NYC as well, but these are well-known experts in the bow world. Prices will vary, reflecting the time it takes, the value of the bow, and difficulty of the job.

Josh Henry
a rough idea as the repair? If by your fragmented question, you are asking how much it will cost... Prices will vary, reflecting the time it takes, the value of the bow, and difficulty of the job. I don't know any bow repair specialist that has a set or standard price for recambering a bow. This is a job that could be very quick and easy, or very complicated, so prices vary. You will need to take the bow to one of the shops and have it inspected by the shop, and only then will you likely get a realistic price quote. FiddleDoug
If the spine of the bow is weak, a recamber may not solve your problems. Also, there is always some risk that the bow may break when recambered. As for the cost, it's whatever the archetier doing the work thinks it's worth.
