I recently bought a nice french bow but the spine is weak and it needs a re-bend.

Do you know is it is an expensive procedure ? I live in the NYC region.

I don't know any bow repair specialist that has a set or standard price for recambering a bow. This is a job that could be very quick and easy, or very complicated, so prices vary. You will need to take the bow to one of the shops and have it inspected by the shop, and only then will you likely get a realistic price quote.

If the spine of the bow is weak, a recamber may not solve your problems. Also, there is always some risk that the bow may break when recambered. As for the cost, it's whatever the archetier doing the work thinks it's worth.
