Violin Bow

Recommended Posts

I have never understood the difference between expensive and inexpensive bows the only factors that I understand would make a difference are weight and wood type

+++++++++++++

Expensive bows are bows that you love to play (feel, better controll ), to look at (better appearance) , to own (pride) . (just a lot nicer)

Try the nearest city with a violin shop!

I agree with duane, unless you live way out in the boonies somewhwere, pay a visit to your local music store, luthier or music teacher. These places usually carry a range of bows from beginner to professional. You will also get personal attention. That way you can try before you buy. A lot of company's on the internet , ebay etc have a no return policy.
