Came across this on ebay Germany.I feel this could be genuine, this maker sells from as low as £500 to several thousand dollars(quick internet search) what do people think has anybody got any experience of this maker?

I know nothing about the maker, so I can't say anything about that, but the violin looks very similar to a del Gesu model by Karel Vavra (Senior) I've worked on. I think the violin is worth the money regardless of who the maker might be.

you should check the brand stamp for a little funny spelling mistake. HENICKE??? who the heck was Matthias Henicke?

Heinicke violins are quite sought after, at least here in the old world. he was a pupil of Degani, Venice.

just wanted to add: i had a - non certified - Heinicke violin for some years. a really impressing instrument. i traded it in for a certified J.C. Boulangeot. wether this was a good idea or not i am still not certain.
