Brad Dorsey Report post Posted March 30, 2009 I've seen a matchstick violin before, but not like this. The plates of this one are carved out of blocks built of several layers running at right angles, like plywood. The one I saw had all the matches running in the same direction. dsreiner Report post Posted April 21, 2009 On this topic, I have an amazing fiddle made from matchsticks and popsicle sticks by a prisoner in Kentucky. He called it a "Voodoo Fiddle," with interesting inlays and a bridge in the shape of a lizard. I posted some photos on my homepage over at the Fiddle Hangout (http://www.fiddlehangout.com/myhangout/photos.asp?id=385). Dave
