I may have that issue, and if not I'll try to order it. I have ordered some boxwood bushing sticks as it seems they are the most common used.

Boxwood bushings are very popular and are what I use. Boxwood is somewhat softer than maple and easier to work with. Some use maple. Weisshar recommends plain maple because of it hardness -something to consider. Use fresh hide glue for the job.

Geared tuners work around this issue by having the string posts that tune the strings not rubbing against the peg holes.
