Guy_Gallo Posted May 23, 2008 Report Posted May 23, 2008 On the Gallery page, when you create a gallery and post a single photograph, on the index page that image is not scaled. So it's rather difficult to use. Is there a way to post a large image but what shows on the gallery page is a thumbnail? As is, a single image will take up the entire screen.
Guy_Gallo Posted May 23, 2008 Author Report Posted May 23, 2008 Very confusing. The image posted by admin shows up as a thumbnail that is clickable. The ones posted by Tets and myself do not... What are we missing?
Tets Kimura Posted May 23, 2008 Report Posted May 23, 2008 Yes, I'd like to know how the admin did his, too.
Guy_Gallo Posted May 23, 2008 Author Report Posted May 23, 2008 It's worse in FireFox on a Mac than it is with Explorer on a WinBox. In FireFox it disiplays the entire image. In Explorer it displays the entire width but not the entire height.
ghunt Posted May 23, 2008 Report Posted May 23, 2008 There is a bug right now and thumbnailing is not working. When I posted the whale picture as a test before the import of all of the data, it worked fine. Something has broken in the import. I have no idea what since we didn't import anything into the gallery section. I am working with the support people to discern why this is happening. Once we get it fixed, all of the thumbnails will be fixed automatically.
ghunt Posted May 27, 2008 Report Posted May 27, 2008 Image thumbnailing in the Gallery section now functions correctly, and I have rebuilt the images that were already in place.
