Hi! My name
is Zoe.  For a high school project, I have decided to conduct
an experiment on how to create the ideal violin.  One of my
topics deals with the violin’s varnish.  What
ingredients can be used to create the best possible varnish (both
spirit and oil)?

It has already been done, so all you need is a credit card and you

will get an A+ .

Just don't forget to remove the labels from the jars, and put a

fake label like "Secret recipe # 42" on instead, or you will get

sent down.

For a good book try -  Leipp, E. 1969. The

Hi

For this and your other questions, please clarify whether your project is going to be a written dissertation or a practical make exercise (a violin or at least some parts of it)?

If you are looking for data, then the search function on this forum will provide you with lots of information.

Also, Google your questions and you will find that the search engine will pull out old, non-copyrighted books that can help you.

If you are 'making', then there are some heavyweights here who can advise.
