fiddlecollector Posted May 26, 2007 Report Share Posted May 26, 2007 Hi Haitham, His name is Alfredo Laurenti, born in a place called Massa Martana in 1882 and worked in Terni after 1911(which is nearby).Dont know whether he worked in Rome. ROME ,So wether it's a copy or an other maker !! it looks good to my Humple expereince nice wood, outline and decent shape antiqued varnished golden brown . fiddlecollector Posted May 27, 2007 Report Share Posted May 27, 2007 Do you have any photos? The 1997 seems to late for this maker.Often these makers didnt even exist. I did a google search and the only Alfredo Laurenti i found was a drummer in a Rumba band in Rome. I have noticed that many of these makers are probably fictional.They often always seem to be named after some obscure Italian artist,composer,musician,etc...
