BobH
Instruments referred to on the forum are sometimes listed opn Ebay in this category: Musical Instruments>Violins> Acoustic>4/4. What can I do in order to access all listings this category? Ebay's help... well.....doesn't seem to for me. TIA
bean_fidhleir
This is what I use as a search expression: (violin, fiddle, geige, violon) (full,4/4) ...plus any other factors for narrowing-down. I hope I understood what you wanted to know.
Michael_Molnar
Go to eBay HOME. In the left sidebar under CATEGORIES select MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS. Next under STRING category (third column) select VIOLIN. Next in categories (left sidebar) select ACOUSTIC. Finally under categories (left sidebar) select 4/4. Now select ADD TO MY FAVORITE CATEGORIES which will speed up going to this subcategory in the future. Mike in NJ
Cassi
good suggestions; like bean, i use the advanced search option to exclude some of the terms that pull up cheap new violins and such, which often have have things "antique look" and such! cassi
Winston
Two other catagories to consider: Antiques/musical instruments/strings. Also: Musical Instruments/strings/ Vintage (pre-1960)
kathyk
Good suggestions. If you have enough time, it's not a bad idea to do both, browse through various heading and also do a search, because you never know when a real gem of a fiddle will be tucked away under mandolin or antique shavers.
