pandora
Anything homemade. A letter saying "Thank you for teaching me this year, I especially liked...etc" with a hand-drawn self-portrait at the bottom is about perfect. Nothing scented, and NO MUGS. Noxx
...a CD of something you know they want/need is always welcome it seems... Even if you make copies and give the copies along with a nice card...
Busker
Last Christmas a 13yr old came into my room and said "I have a Christmas present for you" and proceeded to put on a CD, picked up his fiddle and played a wonderful, sensitive love song complete with backing. I had to call my wife to come and listen to a repeat performance - just wonderful! Another young life has been touched by the blessing of music and I have helped him on the way. What better Christmas present could I have wished for??? Money?? NO - there are no pockets in shrouds! Busker.
Fellow
Yes, a song, a note of thank will do wonder. No need to spend a fortune. I wish I did that when I was a student, too bad I am no longer be able to make it up.
