William Chadwick Violin?

Recommended Posts

: Can any body give me some information on a William Chadwick violin? It was made in London around 1917 or so (hard to read the label. It is an Amati copy.

George,

Had a violin bow from this maker, was first class wood

and workmanship. His violins should be in the 1200.00

to 2500.00 range, if condition and workmanship is anything like his bows.

Mike,

I also have two bows made by Chadwick, which I thought were very high quality. When I found this violin in a music store, I bought it because I had the bows. The violin has had some repairs and isn't perfect. Even with the poor strings and set-up, I can tell that it will sound very nice. Thank you for responding.
