pahdah_hound Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 A horrible thing happened to the Riddic Colossi. It burned up! However, it did leave an amazing and bizarre imprint in ashes on a piece of paper that was forunate enough to be directly under the fire when it happened. I will try to post a photo of the ashes, but my computer can't handle much more of this. I have posted the bizarre circumstances in my ebay listing, and have decided to change the auction from the violin to violin art. Anyone who wants to withdraw their bid may do so. I do think that the artwork is worth at least as much as the violin.... was! Jesse
bean_fidhleir Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 awwwwwwwww...that's a shame (I wondered how you were going to escape)
maestramusica Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 Like I said earlier- You're a great storyteller (AND maker-upper) I totally was hanging on the edge of the computer for each new installment!
Michael Darnton Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 I can't be sure, but I think is see the face of Andy Warhol in the ashes. Maybe you can sell that on ebay, instead.
Barry J. Griffiths Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 Through a strange twist of fate it seems as if Pahdah's 'Riddic Collossi' violin's ashes are a spot on match for the mineral ground found on 'Stradi Vari' violins. Perhaps not all of Stradi's fiddles made it to the marketplace.
ROYCE Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 This whole folk fiddle fiasco by Jesse has been funny as heck. Jesse, you got a warped mind man. Very entertaining and imaginative. Like I said before, you've got a gift of creating a storyline and then embellishing it. The violin world needs folks like you that are jovial and not so stuffy.
