ebay cello: opinions?

It reminds me of some new instruments that I've seen in the last couple of years from Hungary. I don't know who's making them (they're presented as being "old"), but I think it's one person, and he's pretty talented. In the US I've seen them from a couple of itinerant "dealers"; they try to sell them for $7000. They sound pretty good. It will be interesting to see how much it sells for

Maybe that's why the seller is so ultra careful to point out all of the cracks, eve though they measure in angstroms...

I've bought from this seller. I probably overpaid for a damaged violin I bought from him (George Ionescu), but I like it anyway. I have nothing negative to say about him, but there have been some questions raised by others here from time to time.

It is a nice looking cello, The FFs look very sharp as you observed.
