Tuckers
Teftore Violin on Ebay The varnish on the top plate looks like a real fake. The Neck has been replaced. Any chance it's the real thing?
Guy_Gallo
Is that etched purfling on the back? Some back, eh?
Michael Darnton
Kinda doesn't look like the top at all, does it? :-)
Guy_Gallo
Not sure what it is, but I kind of like the back. But the whole thing looks like it's been polyurethaned.

Korngold
That scroll looks like it was carved by a three year old.
Oscar
The varnish seems to have been finger-painted onto the back. Love it! So do the 34-or-so "bidders", apparently.
Fellow
There is no real purfling from what I can see from picture. Varnish is in a too good condition (uniform look) to be 300 years old varnish. Workmanship was not that good when it was made. In my opinion. /yuen/
