ghunt
We have completed an upgrade to the forums that should help those of you who have been having trouble either logging into, or saying logged into the forums. A new feature is the Calendar, which will list relevant events for the community. Admins and Moderators can add Calendar events, so if you have something you feel should be listed, please contact any of the admins or moderators. If you continue to have problems with logins, please re-contact the admins, and we will work with you to get you up and running. MANFIO
One feature I liked - and is absent now - is that in the old format you went directly to the posts you havent seen in the thread. Now you have to spot the new posts because it opens allways in the first post.
crazy jane
Hey M'net Team, I have not been able to access the discussion boards while on AOL (I'm on Juno right now). The main Maestronet page comes up fine. But when I attempt the Boards link, I receive an error message about my browser. Do you know what the problem is? Thanks, J. mitch
I am unable to get to get to maestronet at all from AOL for the past few days. I get an error message "500" - host not found.
D_A
I have been pretty excited that since the recent upgrade the BBS seemed to "remember" me, but unfortunately today, I had to login again. So now I'm disappointed ...
Kevin Miller
I noticed that too, Manfio. I really liked that feature. Having gotten used to it, I now find it annoying to have to scroll through the old posts every time I open a thread.
MANFIO
Yes, they could restore this function, it was really great.
Joseph
I agree, I really miss the automatic jump to the new post feature, and also on the main index page I miss seeing the number of new posts in parenthesis and not just the lite up bulb. Can we get this back too?
nicole
With the new search page, I cant work out how to use the + and -. How do you use the + and -? whats an example? Thanks, Nicole
