hk1997
I'm glad to see that die-hard Maestronetters still exist. But I don't think you're allowed to guess if you've been reading kabalnet .
oldgeezer
Yup, it's Aaron Rosand. And it's lovely playing.
Roderick Quiros
Out of curiosity, what is this piece of music? (also, what was your selection for MV#4?) They're both quite nice.
Carlo_jsb
This is the second movement of Wieniawski's 2nd Concerto. Number 4 was the Wieniawski Legende. Carlo.
stewarts
I don't think it's Arthur Grumiaux. Rosand is more likely but I thought he'd have a more intense vibrato and fuller sound. It has the sweet and rounded finesse of Gil Shaham and Corey Cerovcek (also the recording is very modern) but I check their sound clips on amazon and no, it's not them. I'd bet Rosand if you press me, but I really have no idea. Stewart
Paganiniest
I have been to Kabal's site yet my opinion is not, in any way, tarnished or colored by what any one else has said or not said. I still believe is a very refined performer, in the lights of Grumiaux or Rosand, that vein. Pag
oldgeezer
I confess. I cheated. hk1997 failed to delete the name of the album on the MP3 so it showed up on my player when I downloaded. The name of the album is Romances for Violin and Piano and a check of Amazon turned up this.
hk1997
yup...what oldgeezer said. I forgot to delete part of the ID3 tag on this one.
