FSviolin
I know this has to be asked many times every year, but what do you want for Christmas from your students? What is your favorite present a student has ever gotten you? I am clueless and i don't think my teacher needs another little glass violin or something....Thanks! fs

Ken Nielsen
Godiva Truffles would never be met with a questioning look.
Kabal
I would like them to be on time and leave on time. When a kid comes fifteen minutes late for a lesson... Last week, some mom came 20 minutes late. I was almost late for a gig because of it. It's hard to kick out a kid into the snow when you live in the snow belt. stephen redrobe
Au contraire my friend. I would have thought living in the snow belt would provide you with ample opportunity to kick a kid out into the snow. I have not seen snow for years and envy you this handy option. FSviolin
Could that be why my teacher had tickets to the gun show on his desk????
stephen redrobe
Oh absolutely!. He phoned me and we discussed the merits of a revolver [to eliminate the possibility of jamming] over a semi-automatic [with silencer]. Also mentioned was the sheer satisfaction of a shotgun blast with magnum cartridge. I trust he will make the right decision.
Cedar
Wouldn't a set of industrial strength hearing protectors be cheaper and easier on the cleaning bills not to mention the difficulty of practicing while Bruno is knocking on the cell door asking for a date?
