xania
Yes, Hon. If you had bothered to recharge the battery we wouldn't be having this problem! Now leave me be. Even I need a break from the housework at times! XXX

Far be it from me to comment, but how long does it need to be? Fortunately they are usually adjustable, anyway! xan

xania
I'm NOT Mrs Bobbit- I will admit that you have taken quite a lot of effort to train, though. xx

try008
Rachel Barton Pine is one of the greats. I got a chance to meet her at a competition and have become friends with her. At the competiton (The Sphinx Competition), she played a piece that she wrote...and it was some of the most incredible playing I've ever heard! It was a theme and variations based on an Irish Folksong. The audience and I were in shock as to what she was able to do. The violin did everything except talk! If you were to add up all the difficulties in the Paganini Caprices, and the Ernst Etudes, you'd still fall short of the difficulties that her piece contains. I hope she records it on CD one day for everyone to hear how amazing a violinist she is! David
Toscha
I left out a few important ones. Shame on me... Here we go: Grumiaux Szeryng Prihoda Quiroga Frank Peter Zimmermann Barylli Ricci (before 1975 or so) T.
mignal
Rachel Podger should at least get a mention, her playing of Bach is sublime. I always thought Oscar Schumsky was a little underrated.
