claire_uk
Is there a version of this available for 2 violins and piano instead of orchestra? Thanks, claire
Andrew Victor
If you are looking for the printed music, I believe many (perhaps all) publishers put it out with piano accompaniment, If you are looking for a recorded version, try one of the "music minus one" types of issues. ondinaperret
I have the PETERS EDITION edited by Oistrach. I'm sure there are many more.
natnot
I also have the Peters (Oistrakh) edition. The fingerings are a bit strange, though - not very authentic to the period, much more Romantic than Baroque (neither I nor my teacher at the time really agreed with this, so we crossed them out and put in our own ) Apart from this, it is a good edition and works well with the piano - although, as Ondina said, I'm sure there are many others out there. natnot
Rosie
I've used my International publication with piano accompaniment for many a concert... I think the Double secretly haunts most music halls...
claire_uk
Thank you, I wanted the printed music. Do you think it will sound ok with 1/2 rehearsals?
