Folks, For 40 years, IU has had a violin shop and violinmaking program, but now our professor is retiring and the department has not yet begun a search for his replacement. Myself and my fellow students have drafted a petition intended to show support for continuing the program, which has the backing of the string faculty. If you would be so kind as to sign the petition, it would mean a lot to us.
