Did I finally beat Rue to post this? https://www.nytimes.com/2020/09/02/arts/music/five-minutes-classical-music-violin.html I really liked Eddie South' s piece (courtesy Mazz Smith); several people chose Lark Ascending, including Hilary Hahn, and Andre Rieu chose...Andre Rieu, the punk. And Bach's double... I wish they had asked more violinists, and fewer critics. Some pieces I haven't heard; I do wish they had asked Roman Kim for his selection...And they icluded a local favorite, Vijay Gupta. He was one of Nathaniel Ayer's advocates and teachers (The Soloist movie). https://guptaviolin.com/

Was reading the NY Times and came across this - it's little shops like this that add so much to the culture of the city. I especially liked this part: "Virtuoso’s cozy environment lends itself to lingering, and Mr. Hagopian has a selection of French chocolates and coffees on hand to entice visitors to stay a while." http://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/09/nyregion/neighborhood-joint-virtuoso-resources.html?_r=1& http://www.nytimes.com/slideshow/2011/10/09/nyregion/20111009JOINTss.html?ref=nyregion
