    Can anyone tell me if this is an authentic Bisiach violin? This was passed down to my grandmother who gave it to me to get appraised. If it is authentic, how much could this be worth?

    Hi, I saw a beautiful violin recently, it is a copy of Leandro Bisiach without a makers”s name. The whole length of the violin is 585 mm and the back 358 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 165 mm; middle bouts: 109 mm; lower bouts: 205 mm. Can anyone help to identify where and when it was made please? Thanks a lot.

    Agree or Disagree... I've been looking all over this place for reference materials for this instrument. I've been able to get someone to finally look at the magnificent piece - they're appraisal is that this was a 1911 Leandro Bisiach Pouchette, but it is still a mystery when trying to look up more information. I still cannot find out what the CM or MC mean....any ideas?
