Im sorry but his playing style is in no way appealing to me. And listening to him butcher the Meditation by Thais in this clip is absolutely horrifying. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=El4ruruXXbw And then there is this monstrosity: I understand he is old and everything, but it seems as if this was always his "Playing style". Does people really find his playing enjoyable? In my opinion, this proves that being "Unique" or "Different" is not always a good thing. Im sorry if this seems as if Im "Attacking" the person, as that is not my intention. My reason for this topic is to find out why he is thought to be a "Master" or "one of the greats".
