I recently acquired this violin from my great aunt after making a trip out to visit her. She decided to give me this violin from her mom, my great grandmother, after she learned I play the violin. She has no other use for it. There is no label of who made it, nor is there a mark from glue or a sticker that was once in there. From what my great aunt has told me, my great grandmother has had this since she was a child, and most likely got it from her mom, my great great grandmother. Additionally, my great great grandmother immigrated over from Northern Europe, and came from a family of musicians that also could've had it before her. Thats as far back as we know it goes. Easily over +120 years. The violin seems to be made from maple from my judgement, if that helps. It also seems to be hand crafted and not factory made, but Im no expert. Please help me to determine the maker and birth place of this piece of history.

I have a 2008 Alois Sandner Model #8225 cello that I bought a few years ago at Ifshin. I'm trying to ID it so that I can resell it. I would appreciate any help with this! Thank you so much! (Yes, one of the strings has broken so I'd need to get it restrung)
