    I am confused. I have a violin with a label "BERTOLINI a Paris" . It is a larger violin with a dark red varnish and purling of ebony and mother of pearl. It has a large full sound. I read somewhere that Bertolini is not the same as Bertholini(with and H), however I see alot of violins listed as both Bertolini and Bertholini interchangeably. One appaiser told me it was worth about $1,500. Does anyone know if the two are different?
