Help! I need some photographs for an article in Strings about the 'Oberlin comes to Baltimore' Convention we just had in Timonium. The editor is hoping for some shots that are in better focus than the ones on the VSA's website (please-- no disrespect is intended to those photographers; don't shoot the messenger, guys), and we are having a hard time coming across shots that will work. If anyone has crowd, talk, or maker's show-and-tell shots, or anything they feel is high quality, there can be some pay involved. It's not my call how much that is, but I'd sure like to get some photos that help get the feel of community, and the promise of our industry's future that my article focuses on. Wanted to give my thanks to Christopher Reuning for writing an excellent article about Stradivari's stylistic changes, and yet another thank you for Tucker Densley, whose photos illustrate Mr. Reunings points superbly. The article will be a permanent addition to my copy of the exhibition Catalog.
