  1. Thank you for all of your answers. Now I understand enough that those are not worth to buy at the price. Then can any of you assess the price and the identity of those cellos? According to Jacobsaunders, they are all German instruments.. right? The first one seems not in a bad condition. Doesn't it? and I like its sound. If I like its sound and want to have it, how much do you think is appropriate for its price? And the other two ones.. if I really like one of them, how much can I suggest (If the seller is willing to listen to my opinion borrowed from you.)
  2. I have a cello which I bought from a decent shop with the help of a professional cellist. Thank you.
  3. Thank you for your answer. I enlarged the pictures and uploaded them again. Unfortunately, they are only available pictures right now. Just a quick glance and a brief assessment would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
  4. Hi experts, Would you please give a look at these three cellos? If one can manage to pay for either of three, which would you recommend? I was told that the first cello is from France (First three pictures). The price of this one is rather moderate compared with the other two cellos: 7,500 USD (not 75,000USD). The second (4th, 5th and 6th pictures) and third cellos (7th and 8th pictures) are far more expensive. The prices are about 50,000 - 60,000 USD. I was told that one was made in Germany and the other (perhaps the third one? I am not sure) in Italy. Are the prices exorbitant or appropriate? If it is too expensive, how much do you think is appropriate? Unfortunately, the certificate is not available. I am not wealthy enough to buy an expensive cello. But if it is worth the price, I can cut down on my spending for the coming years. So which would you recommend? I am considering buying the second or third cellos. But the first cello has a fine sound. So I just ask your advice if the cello is worth to have regardless of whether I choose the second or third ones. Thank you in advance for sharing your expertise. (You can enlarge the photo.) 1. French (7,500 USD) 2. Either German or Italian (50,000 - 60,000 USD) 3. Italian (?) (50,000 - 60,000 USD).. I am not sure which one is Italian between the second and third.
