  1. A colleague give me the idea of using Danish oil as a ground. I've just start a try but I have some doupt/questions about it. As wood drinks a lot of the product before it start to seal, isn't it dangerous it harden the wood too much? How do you apply it: with a paintbrush or a towel? Do you apply several coats or just one? What quantity of Danish oil do you apply?
  2. I don't think to copy cracks is a good idea; even real cracks well repaired can make the sale difficult.
  3. I want to improve my antiquing process and I still have difficulty with scratches; I'm not able to copy little scratches without being naive. Does anybody can help me to reproduce very tiny scratches like those we can see on the back of the Plowden of Guarneri Del Gesu?
