I didn't forget them. I just thought that you'd have heard of others one way or another and I was right. I'm amazed and impressed by some of the more modern ones.
Playing violins is not a trade. Final choice.
The trades are jobs which may involve skill but don't involve the intellect; such things as plumbing, HVAC repair, truck driving, auto body work, and violin making and playing (according to some)
^Wellll... it's NOT a trade school, especially if it's part of a university. Unless art, accounting, medicine, engineering, English lit., languages, law, international relations, and the highly coveted MBA are also trades.
^One time I was driving cross-country with my friend to Omaha, taking him to the Berkshire Hathaway convention. He was very religious, and to make conversation I told him about the time my mom was watching a documentary on TV about Thomas Merton. She was rapt for the whole hour, listening to every word. When it ended, she spoke and said "He doesn't know any more about it than anybody else." My friend responded that intellectuals don't get very much credit...
It's also possible to under-think it....
