(DB) Good orchestration means what you're talking about, plus the conductor can tone down anything competing... I mean i don't immediately see anything that makes that situation different compared to carrying from one end of a field to the other. I've heard of certain timbres carrying better, but it should carry better everywhere...

Hey, doc. I love this movement too. The part you're referring to is reconstructed and I haven't found if written anywhere except for in the video you posted. I will probably write it down from the video someday. Good aid to memorization too

What would keep an instrument that projects well anywhere from projecting well everywhere? And aren't halls and etc. so varied than they qualify as "everywhere"? Stand on opposite ends of a football field and see if you can hear it
