Recently, I bought EH Roth 1978 violin and it has two lables. Each lable under each f hole. The lable close to bassbar is the same as any other Roth violins. It has the serial number B5-1079. Stradivarius 1925. Etc. The one close to sound post says . Meister Instrument Antonius Stradivarius 1725 Modell E8R Anno 1978 Made in West Germany" on the far left side near the top, there is a printed signature of Ernst Heinrich Roth. The signature was underlined. Below the underline there are some tiny letters which I cannot read. it has a single maple back. the description of this E8R is no different from current 71/V-R. Anyone saw this type of lable? It looks nearly new in untrained eye (me). anyone has any information on E8R? Thank you
