Thanks.
I'd like to get the measurements for the 1622 Brothers Amati specifically, played by Lawrence Lesser. I'd be interested to see measurements for any Amati cello, really.
Does anyone have an opinion as to whether or not it's worth it to subscribe to the Luther's Library?
Thanks everyone for your warm welcome.
The cello is indeed my first instrument ever and yes, Peter White is a very good teacher.
Here's a short recording I made of my cello, so you can hear what it sounds like. Excuse my playing; looks like I'm better at making cellos than playing them.

Hello all. I’m a newcomer to violin-making but I've been hooked since day one. I study with Peter White at the University of New Mexico as part of the New Mexico Musical Heritage Project. I made a cello in my first year, which placed first in final tone at the 2013 VMAAI Competition. Here's a link to some photos of my cello:

I’m now working on a violin modeled after the 1649 Nicolo Amati ‘Alard’. Any comments, questions, or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
