I make fittings for fine instruments both new and old. I'm privileged to make them for famous violin makers both living and dead. I work by myself in my cellar shop right across from the washer and the dryer. I'm expensive and slow and not getting rich anytime soon. I am inspired by the personal touch and like to envision the person I am making fittings for while I am doing the work. That's rare these days, I think. Hopefully so is the quality of the work that comes from the process.
