I'm a mechanical engineer. Started out in aerospace industry working at Air Force research center.

More recently have been working in the construction industry.

Have been playing since age 12...guitar, then bass, then mandolin, now working on violin and viola.

Started out doing my own luthier work. Built a couple of guitars. That went well enough that I'm selling

off the rest. Bought a cheap Chinese violin a few years ago on a lark; realized I could make some sound

come out of it. Sold it. Bought an antique violin of unknown origin. Fell in love with the instrument and the rest

as they say is history. I now buy, restore, and sometimes resell. Love 'em!
