  2. sorry i just wrote that wrong i make sure that im in the right posture when i play i ment by right posture is that when im done playing i walk with my back straight (the right posture) and it doesnt hurt Oh and shirley, thank you very much yes i brake it up i play 2 hours then 2 hours then an hour but every hour i stop for about 5-10 minutes and my back starts to hurt after about an hour and yes i had an audition i got 1st chair second violin because i was ofered 2nd chair 1st violin but i lyk to lead so unless i deserve first chair 1st violin i lyk to lead the scond violins but besides the audition its also that i use to hate playing the violin but 3 months ago i heard a concert by joshua bell and it really inspired me so now im trying to make up for lost time! i want to be amazing so i have to practice alot And tank you skiingfiddler
  3. yes the sarasate yea i high positions help in that aspect but im always worried that if im nervous ill get my fingers just a little to high or to low and the whole thing will sound off
  4. hey everyone i don t know maybe its just that ive never practiced so much but lately ive been practicing violin for like 4 to 5 hours a day i use to only do 1 to one and a half hours a day so lately my back has really been hurting When i stop playing and standing in the right posture i feel fine but during practice my back really hurts is this normal when you practice so much or is it not suppose to do that!!!   5. hey every1 im playing the playera a spaniard peice and if you know it then you know that it has very difficult fingering. i have tried both ways of fingering, doing what the music says and going to 5, 6 7, 8 or just staying in 1,2,3,4 its alot easier obvioulosy in the lower positions and i dont think that the higher postions make enough of a difference it is good for practicing fingerings and shifting but i rather not perform with these figering risky!!! whats ur opinion thanx jairo

WELL strings might help but i think its just a matter of practice when my teacher told me a year ago i was going to be doing the entire first part on the g string i was like whoo i cant do that !!! i practiced and practiced and then it came easy to me and i rather do it on the g then on any other string but i agree its also just personal preferance

This was made by one of my friends we have a program called gimp and with it you can take images and use them as backgrounds and so forth but you can add all kinds of effects theres to many to name This is a very simple example of what the program can do but just thought i would show the picture its one of my favorites
  14. Hi i was just wondering As violin makers for those of you who are violin makers ... do you make your own bridges from pieces of wood? or do you by them from aubert or some company and then just fit them just curious
