  6. In short , that mean the soundpost was not fitted properly . You could tell where the post has really contact the top or back , by turning it with the setter . An unfitted soundpost could affecting in many way . One thing I've notice if the post was not in fully contact to the back . The bass and the power would suffering a lot .

  10. My violin have stung on the new Peter Infeld for a week . it's really impressive !!!! My set are P101PT , with Platinum plated E string and silver D. They almost sound fabulous instantly after put on . It's quite hard to describe the "sound " of this string . Because it's so versatile .There are no other synthetic strings before have it's full spectrum of tone colors. That allow you to modulating the tone in great deal . The new Platinum E was so good , it's warm , powerful , clear and elegance . Just like what they say on their advertisement . The softer touch under finger of this strings , much like playing on gut strings , which I love to playing on it very much . $100 for a set of strings perhaps sound a bit expensive . But for what the sound improvement it bring on my violin , I think it's well worth it .
  11. Don't hesitate to try a set of it , to see if you and your viola like it . In my opinions , it's one of the best Viola Strings out there .
