Dwight Brown

I was a school orchestra director/ strings teacher for 29 years. I tried to be retired for a couple of years but I wasn't very good at it.  I went on to be a science teacher in a very small school district in Comstock, Texas. I am now sort of retired again for the moment. We will see what happens!

I am a 1978 graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy were I studied viola with David Holland and a 1982 graduate of Ithaca College where I studied viola with Patty McCarty and Darrel Barnes. I love to talk about Instruments, Bows, and Players and I collect violins, violas and their bows. I have very much enjoyed spending time here on Maestronet and I have made some great friends.
