CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHERE TO GET SHEET MUSIC (NOT LYRICS ON THEIR OWN) FOR DEEP BLUE SOMETHING'S GREAT SONG, BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S?

: Has any one out there played a violin that has had one of these bass bars installed? I would like to hear your feed back. Thank you, : Joe: I have played on four of these violins now. One he sent me to try out, as I am a teacher and was curious and hopeful of finding an inexpensive source of good sounding violins for my students. The first one sounded very good--loud, edgy and deep on the low end. The next was a 3/4which was also very nice. The next two were not very good at all. They were sent to a student to try out and she ended up buying a new Chinese violin from a local shop. All of these violins have a distinctive quality to their sound, which I assume is related to this bass bar. I personally have reservations about it. The real test, of course is to hear a vioin before and after the installation of one of these bass bars.

: I was wondering how the Coda Bow stacks up against other carbon composite or fiberglass bows. Is it as good as the Berg Bow or Spiccato Bow by Benoit Rolland. I read in the Strings magazine concerning these bows a while ago and am not sure whether this information is valid. I have spent time with both the Coda and the Berg bows and I feel comfortable opining that the Berg bow is superior in every way. Balance, tone, weight, flexibility and just general feel are far superior. I really wanted to like the Coda as much as the Berg, because it is so much cheaper. After purchasing a Berg and comparing it to a Coda, I immediately put in my order for anothe Berg to use with the violin that I teach with. The Berg is twice as much and worth every penny! Paul
