Description: A golden orange violin with a two-piece back. Labelled "Petrus Guarnerius Cremonensis fecit Mantuoe sub tit. Sanctoe Teresioe 1715". Also sold with the letter of W. E. Hill & Sons (October 1, 1967) to a previous owner stating that "An example which bears a considerable resemblance to yours was once owned by the late Fritz Kreisler".
