Description: A good German Violin bearing the maker's label, branded internally, with exterior brands on the button and lower ribs. The handsome one-piece back of marbled mottled curl after N. Amati, ribs and scroll of similar figure, table of even close grain, varnish of a red colour on a golden brown ground, a fine example after Del Gesu in good and immediate playing condition.
