Type: Violin
Description: A fine and handsome Italian Violin and so labelled. The attractive two-piece back of bold broad figure ascending slightly from the joint, the ribs of similar figure, scroll of modest medium curl , table of even close grain, varnish of light golden brown colour, in good and immediate playing condition. The intsrument is decorated with two ows of purfling back and front displaying an aged red ball and lozenge pattern along with the fleur-de-lys.
