Description: An orange-brown violin with a one-piece back. Labelled "Joseph Rocca fecit Premiato di medaglie alle Esposizioni de Torino, Genova, Londra e Parigi. Taurini 1861". Sold with two letters from J. & A. Beare, London (April 7, 1948). Sold with some correspondence from Cyril Woodcock, London (November 9 & 22, 1949). Also sold with a receipt and letter (December 13, 1949)
